Who We Are

 **SwissZimHeritage.com** is an online art gallery that brings the vibrant and diverse artistry of Zimbabwe to a global audience. Founded by Dennis Ruf, an avid collector of Zimbabwean art based in Switzerland, and two talented Zimbabwean artists, Tonderai Mujuru and Keith Zenda, our mission is to elevate and promote Zimbabwean art on the international stage. We believe in the power of art to bridge cultures and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Zimbabwe.

Our Aim 


A Platform for Recognition Our primary aim is to provide a platform where Zimbabwean artists can gain international recognition. By showcasing their work on **SwissZimHeritage.com**, we ensure that the unique and powerful expressions of these artists reach a wider audience. This exposure not only highlights the beauty and depth of Zimbabwean art but also enhances its value and appreciation globally. ### Empowering Artists We are dedicated to improving the financial and working conditions of the artists we represent. By offering fair pricing for their artworks, we enable artists like Tonderai Mujuru, Keith Zenda, and Barry Lungu to work in peace and develop new pieces without the constant pressure of financial instability. Barry Lungu, known for his distinctive township style, has already joined our initiative, and we are committed to supporting more artists in the future.

 Supporting Community Development

Our commitment extends beyond the art world. Tonderai Mujuru has established a clinic to provide essential healthcare to his community, with the support of his wife, who is a certified nurse. Additionally, we aim to support artists in supplementing their income through farming, giving them more time and resources to focus on their creative endeavors.

 Promoting Art Education

Both Tonderai and Keith are passionate about nurturing the next generation of Zimbabwean artists. In their studios, they mentor young artists, fostering a community of learning and artistic growth. This mentorship is crucial for the sustainability and evolution of Zimbabwean art.

Artgal.Online: Global Exhibitions

We have launched **Artgal.Online** to showcase Zimbabwean art through global exhibitions. These exhibitions will feature works by our core artists and an annual curated selection of pieces from other Zimbabwean artists. A curating panel will carefully select the works to ensure the highest quality and representation of Zimbabwean artistry.

Zimbabwe Annual Exhibition and Vernissage

Our annual exhibition, held in Zimbabwe, will be inaugurated with a live event featuring a Vernissage where all participating artists will be invited. This exclusive, invite-only event will host VIPs and offer each artist the opportunity to present their work, fostering a deeper connection between the artists and the audience. The Vernissage will be filmed and made available after the event for distribution, allowing a wider audience to experience the exhibition and the remarkable talent of Zimbabwean artists.
